what parents and their children say

For girls, the story is incredibly exciting and enchanting.

Especially Filindra, the fairy who shares a deep friendship with Noah, plays a central role that resonated with my daughter and her friends.

The connection between Noah and Filindra shows how important friendship and affection are, regardless of adventures and dangers.

Princess Miranda is also a strong role model, as she is not only rescued, but ultimately becomes a magical and powerful figure herself.

The combination of magical creatures, strong female characters, and a story about courage and love makes this fairy tale both captivating and inspiring for girls.

As a boy, this fairy tale is a true adventure! Noah, the hero, goes through so many exciting and dangerous situations where he must prove his courage.

The dragons, the battles, the magic, and especially the journey through mysterious worlds awaken the spirit of exploration. It's especially fascinating that Noah, an ordinary boy, is given such important tasks and even gets to rescue a princess.

Any boy who loves adventure stories can relate to Noah and will wish to go on similar magical journeys.

There is so much excitement, and at times it’s so thrilling that it’s hard to tear yourself away from the story.

what children's book reviewers say

The fairy tale is very well crafted, offering both a classic fantasy approach and modern narrative elements.

The story is multi-layered, with a clear hero's arc and well-developed supporting characters that appeal to both boys and girls.

The fairy tale relies on strong symbolism, such as the restoration of balance through the Advent candles, while conveying subtle yet important messages about community and individual strength.

The narrative structure is lively, and the blend of excitement, magic, and emotional moments keeps young readers engaged.

The language is accessible but not simplified, making it understandable and appealing to a wide age range.

The fairy tale would be well-received in the world of children's literature, as it skillfully combines traditional motifs with contemporary storytelling techniques.

Overall, the story offers many facets for both children and adults, making it a valuable reading experience.

This fairy tale is a wonderful story that combines both exciting and heart-warming elements. Especially for us from the parents' point of view.

It promotes values such as friendship, courage, loyalty and overcoming difficulties. Noah, the main character, grows through his experiences and children can learn that challenges are often opportunities to grow.

The balance between suspense and emotionality is particularly beautiful, making the story equally appealing to boys and girls.

For parents, the fairy tale not only offers an opportunity to tell their child a fantastic story, but also to talk together about important topics such as responsibility, friendship and making decisions.

about the author

Martin Altherr has been accompanying people in critical life processes and career changes for more than 24 years and lovingly and with great commitment he picks them up when they are ready to explore the spiritual side of their lives. He works internationally as a therapist, self-transformation coach and sought-after mentor. In his work, he focuses on adults and young people in individual and team processes. His clients are employees and self-employed people or companies. Among his clients are also doctors and Hollywood actors.

He began his professional career at the age of 16. At that time he managed a video studio, composed music for movies and studied acting. After his studies, he worked at theaters and privately run theaters, where he played comedies and musicals. His father, Hans Hermann, and his mother, Ilona Hermann, were both fine art painters and thus instilled in him a passion for art.

As a life companion and father of two children and then also as a family man with two children of his own, a 15 year old son and a 25 year old adult son, he was able to gain a lot of experience in dealing with the different characters and stages of life of these four children.

As a therapist, he was later able to put this experience to good use for his clients when they no longer knew how to help themselves with their children.

“I was very lucky that I was able to learn so much from the children I accompanied. This helped me to guide my children through puberty with a lot of mutual respect and love, without any irregularities.”

In fact, his first not-biological own child was the inspiration for the story of Noah and his bed slide into fairyland. The child was 5 years old at the time and very challenging in many respects. So Martin Altherr wrote a short story every day for 25 days in December, which contained little inspirations to help him master the child's behavior, his view of himself and the many facets of his life experiences more easily and successfully. These 25 short stories developed into a whole story that all the children who joined later also wanted to hear over and over again with great excitement.

“During the preparations for publication, I revised the entire story again and incorporated all the experience I have gained as a therapist and self-transformation coach over the last 25 years into this story so that parents can also take something from the magic of these stories and thus have easier access to talking to their children about friendship, responsibility, love and courage. It was great to see how all my children, also the adult ones, kept coming back to me during these preparations to hear how the story was developing.”

In his tireless commitment to people's personal freedom, he opens a new chapter with the story of Noah, which forms without lecturing and with many subtle aspects a first foundation for adults and children alike on which it is much easier to build further levels and thus develop personal freedom more easily.

Further stories about Noah and his descendants and their adventures in fairyland are already in the making. At the same time, the publication of a self-help book with the provisional working title “HELP THAT REALLY HELPS” is planned for 2025.
